After going strong for a while on my Birdtown Comics project, I got it somehow in my head that I would be consistent with it, forever and ever, so I had some magnets printed up, and offered them for next to nothing. On the internet. As if anyone who's online would actually want to pay a buck for a stupid magnet that they have no idea what it's even representing. I sold not one. Not even one.
So. Guess what yours truly did? Littered them. All over the place. Well, not really littered, in the literal sense. They were applied, rather, to a variety of metal things, such as, but not limited to, newspaper stands, light poles, mailboxes (the public ones), etc etc. Anywhere they would stick. I'm guessing I maybe "gave away" at least 250+ or so, in this fashion. In Texas. In Louisiana. In Mississippi, Alabama (mainly Alabama! All OVER Mobile!!!), and maybe one or two here in Florida. Pretty much I shared them with the world as I made my journey here. Like souveneirs, but giving them instead of collecting them. Does that make any sense?
So although there are hardly any magnets left, and I officially have given up on ever trying to have my own business, here's a consolation prize for you, in case you wanted a magnet but never got one. Here is... A Birdtown Comics video.
and, even more comics I made, if you are that bored:
You... want more? Really? Ok!
I love you!
